BlockAid® Reinforced Vinyl Sound Barrier BlockAid® Reinforced Vinyl Sound Barrier is a mass loaded vinyl (MLV) material to use when sound blocking is needed and a more rugged and durable material is desired. Reinforced barrier can support its own weight, allowing it to be used in hanging partitions. Install BlockAid® Reinforced Barrier to prevent sound from flanking over walls in a ceiling grid plenum. BlockAid® Reinforced Vinyl Sound Barrier is available in 60’ rolls or by the linear yard, and exhibits excellent resistance to most acids, mild alkalis, oils and grease.
